The general conditions of the shop.packaging.si online store are drawn up in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1) and the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1).
The online shop shop.packaging.si (hereinafter also “shop”) is managed by the company Kadrovik d.o.o., Cankarjev drevored 46, 6310 Izola, Slovenia, tax number: SI49571796, which is also a provider of e-business services (hereinafter also seller or shop .packaging.si).
The general business conditions determine the operation of the shop.packaging.si online store, the rights and obligations of the user and the store, and regulate the business relationship between shop.packaging.si and the customer.
The customer is bound by the general conditions valid at the time of purchase (submission of the online order). When placing an order, the user is specifically reminded of the general business terms and conditions and confirms his familiarity with them by placing the order.
1. Types of users
With a one-time registration in the shop.packaging.si online store via e-mail, the visitor becomes a shop.packaging.si guest, and with a confirmed registration in the shop.packaging.si online store, he becomes a member of shop.packaging.si. Both the guest and the member of shop.packaging.si (hereinafter also the user) acquire the right to purchase in the shop.packaging.si online store.
When registering in the shop.packaging.si online store, the visitor obtains a user name, which is the same as his e-mail address, and a password. The username and password of the shop.packaging.si member are unambiguously defined and linked to the entered data.
Registration is also possible during the purchase process.
2. Availability of information
Shop.packaging.si undertakes to provide the customer with the following information even before he is bound by the contract or offer:
information about the shop.packaging.si company (company name and registered office, registration number),
contact information that enables the user to communicate quickly and efficiently (e-mail, telephone),
the essential characteristics of the items (including after-sales services and guarantees) and the validity period of this information,
availability of items (each item offered on the website should be available within a reasonable time),
terms of delivery of items (and method, place and deadline of delivery),
prices, which must be clearly and unequivocally determined and must clearly show whether they already include taxes and transport costs and other duties, as well as the validity period of this information,
method of payment and delivery or fulfillment, and the validity period of this information,
time validity of the offer,
the term within which it is possible to withdraw from the contract and the conditions for withdrawal (description of the right to withdraw in accordance with Article 43 of the ZVPot; in cases where the consumer does not have the right to withdraw in accordance with Article 43 of the ZVPot, he is expressly informed of this) ,
an explanation of the complaint procedure, including all information about the contact person or customer service department.
3. Offer of articles
Due to the nature of online business, the shop.packaging.si offer is updated and changed frequently and quickly.
The prices in the online store are the prices set by shop.packaging.si and which apply to purchases via the shop.packaging.si online store.
The best offer of the day is a specially reduced price of an item that is valid for a certain period for certain items marked with a discount in the shop.packaging.si offer. Next to the item, the percentage of reduction compared to the recommended price of shop.packaging.si is indicated.
4. The order
The sales contract between shop.packaging.si and the buyer is concluded in the shop.packaging.si online store at the moment when shop.packaging.si sends the buyer the first email about the status of his order (with the title: confirmation of order receipt). From this moment on, all prices and other conditions are fixed and apply to both shop.packaging.si and the customer.
The minimum order amount on the website is €1.00 for products before added postage. This is also the amount above which a promo code can be used at the time of purchase and some campaigns.
In order to avoid resale, the purchase of some promotional products is limited to 1 item per order.
In case of frequent non-acceptance of sent packages, we reserve the right to have the customer pay for the package before shipping (according to the proforma invoice).
The sales contract (i.e. the first electronic message about the status of the order) is stored in electronic form on the server shop.packaging.si).
5. Payment methods
Shop.packaging.si offers the following payment methods:
by transfer to the account of Kadrovik d.o.o. according to the offer/estimated invoice**
with payment or credit card (MasterCard®, Visa, Visa Electron, BA Maestro, Diners club)*
with payment via PayPal*

**After receipt of payment according to the offer/proforma invoice, the order moves on to the processing process.
6. Issuance of an invoice
After delivery of the ordered items, Shop.packaging.si also sends the customer an invoice in .pdf format to the customer’s e-mail address.
The invoice contains a breakdown of the price and all costs related to the purchase, as well as a notification of the right to withdraw from the contract.
The buyer is obliged to check the correctness of the data before placing the order. We do not take into account objections made later regarding the correctness of the issued invoices.
7. Prices
The price is the same for all users of shop.packaging.si. You become a shop.packaging.si user by registering in the online store as a member of shop.packaging.si or by logging into the online store once as a shop.packaging.si guest.
The prices are valid at the moment of placing the order and have no further validity.
The prices are valid in the case of payment with the above-mentioned payment methods, under the above-mentioned conditions.
Despite our best efforts to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information, it may happen that the price information is incorrect. In this case, or in the event that the price of the item changes during the processing of the order, shop.packaging.si will allow the customer to withdraw from the purchase.
Discounts, promotional codes, etc. they do not add up.
Deposited funds from gift vouchers, bonuses and advance invoices do not bear interest. Gift vouchers and discount bonus codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
8. Promotional code
The promotional code brings various advantages when purchasing and is limited in time. You can find the active promotional code on the front page of the advertising message, on the page of each department, in our e-newsletter or other media.
Using the promo code:
Select the items you want to buy and add them to your cart. When you have finished adding items to your cart, continue by clicking the Checkout button. Choose a delivery method, specify a delivery address and choose a payment method.
In the same step, enter the promotional code in the “Discount codes” field and confirm the entry by clicking the Apply button.
Only one promotional code can be used in each purchase (for example: when ordering 2 items, you can use a maximum of 1 promotional code at the same time).
The value of the promotional code cannot exceed the value of the ordered items.
If you want to use a discount code in addition to a promotional code, the number of codes must not exceed the number of different items ordered. Enter different codes at the same time in the “Discount codes” field and separate them with a comma or a space. Then click the Apply button.
When you enter the promotional code, the value of the promotional code is automatically deducted from the price of your order in the last step – Order Summary. There remains an amount that still needs to be settled.
10. Purchase notification process
Shop.packaging.si ordered
After submitting the order, the buyer receives a notification by e-mail that the order has been accepted. On the shop.packaging.si website, shop.packaging.si members always have access to comprehensive information about the status and contents of the order. shop.packaging.si reviews the order, checks the availability of the ordered items and confirms the order or rejects it with a reason. shop.packaging.si can call the buyer on his contact phone number to check the data or to ensure the accuracy of the delivery. When delivering items that shop.packaging.si does not have in stock in its own warehouse, shop.packaging.si is exclusively bound by the delivery by its supplier and the time in which this supplier can deliver the item to shop.packaging.si. Via e-mail shop.packaging.si informs the buyer on an ongoing basis about up-to-date information regarding the delivery of items. If the delivery time is very long and the buyer does not want to wait, the buyer can inform shop.packaging.si about this, which will remove the item from the order and return any funds already paid to the buyer, and the remaining items from the order will be delivered at the buyer’s choice, or the entire order cancelled.
The order has been shipped
Shop.packaging.si prepares the article within the agreed time frame, ships it and informs the buyer about it by e-mail. In an e-mail, shop.packaging.si also informs the buyer about the withdrawal policy, where to contact in the event of a delivery delay and where to contact in the event of a complaint.
In the event that the buyer decides to cancel the order in time, he must notify the seller immediately by calling the general assistance telephone number 000 000 000 or by e-mail to the address info@packaging.si. If it happens that the order has already been shipped, the buyer rejects the shipment to the delivery service.
12. Purchase for legal entities
The purchase process for legal entities is exactly the same as for natural persons. If you want a company invoice, let us know at info@packaging.si. We allow companies, sole proprietors and other legal entities to return delivered items within the warranty conditions. The listed legal entities do not have the option of withdrawing from the contract within 14 days of receiving the item without reason, as is the case for consumers (natural persons).
Claiming a material error and refunding the purchase price is not possible for legal entities. Purchases by legal entities are also subject to the general terms and conditions of shop.packaging.si, you can read more about the return options under the warranty conditions further down the page or on the return page.

13. The consumer’s right to withdraw from the contract
The consumer (the above applies exclusively to natural persons who acquire the article for purposes outside of their commercial activity) has the right to notify the seller within 14 days of taking over the articles that he withdraws from the contract without having to give a reason for his decision. The deadline starts counting one day after the date of collection of the items.
Withdrawal from the contract is sent by the consumer to the seller’s e-mail address: info@packaging.si.
In case of withdrawal from the contract, the consumer returns the received article or by mail to the seller’s address: PS Logistika (AMBIDOM d.o.o.) Brnčičeva 45, 1231 Ljubljana – Črnuče.
The return of the received items to the company within the withdrawal period is considered a notice of withdrawal from the contract.
The consumer must return the item to the seller undamaged and in the same quantity, unless the item is destroyed, damaged, lost or its quantity has decreased through no fault of the consumer. The consumer may not use the articles unhindered until the withdrawal from the contract. The consumer may inspect and test the items to the extent that is absolutely necessary to determine the actual condition and as is usually the case in stores. Any “testing” that deviates from this can be considered as use of the goods, which means that the consumer thereby loses the right to withdraw from the contract.
The only cost charged to the consumer in connection with withdrawal from the contract is the cost of returning the items (which, in the case of shipping, is calculated according to the price list of the delivery service and depends on whether it is a shipment/package/cargo). The item must be returned to the seller no later than 14 days after the notification of withdrawal from the contract (purchase) was sent.
The consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract in the case of contracts, the subject of which is an article that has been manufactured according to the precise instructions of the consumer, which has been adapted to his personal needs.
Payments made will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal from the contract. In order to ensure the certainty, accuracy and timeliness of the refund, as well as to ensure a record of payments, the refund of the payment to the buyer is made exclusively by transfer to his transaction account. Refund of payment in cash is not possible!
In case of withdrawal from the contract where a bonus, discount code or promotional code was used, these funds are considered as a discount and are not returned to the user. Only the paid amount is returned to the user’s TRR, and the used bonus or promotional code is also returned to the user in the form of a new code. When withdrawing from the contract, the gift voucher is considered as a means of payment and is returned to the user as a gift voucher, and the amount paid is returned to the user’s TRR.
In exceptional cases, when the items are not returned in accordance with the ZVPot, we can offer the consumer the purchase of the item with appropriate compensation, which is determined in the minutes upon return. The purchase with a reduced value is taken into account upon confirmation of the consumer by e-mail. The consumer benefits from the aforementioned redemption fee only when ordering another item of the same or higher value.
The right to a refund of the purchase price in the case of warranty claims and material defects is more precisely regulated by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (unofficial consolidated text).
Withdrawal by the consumer from the contract for items in the set
If the consumer decides to withdraw from the contract for the items that make up the set, he can request an exchange for the same set or a refund for the entire set. The consumer can exchange the item from the set in the event of a material defect or damage to the item, but cannot request a refund for it. In case of claiming the warranty of the item from the set, the manufacturer’s warranty period applies.
14. A factual error
When is an error real? When:
the article does not have the properties necessary for its normal use or for circulation
the article does not have properties that are necessary for the specific use for which the buyer is buying it, but which the seller was aware of or should have been aware of
the article does not have properties and features that have been expressly or tacitly agreed or prescribed
the seller has delivered an item that does not match the sample or model, unless the sample or model has been shown for notification purposes only.
How is the suitability of the item checked?
It is checked with another, faultless item of the same type, and at the same time with the manufacturer’s statements or indications on the item itself.
How does the actual error take effect?
The buyer can exercise rights from a material defect if he informs the seller about the defect within two months from the day the defect was discovered. The seller is not responsible for defects that appear after 2 years of purchase.
15. Acceptance of items returned due to a material defect
The buyer is obliged to take over the item that he handed over to the seller for consideration after the completion of the consideration. It will be returned to the customer at the delivery address.
The seller sends a notification to the buyer about the return of the item from consideration and invites him to pick up the item. The buyer is obliged to collect the article within 14 days from the date of notification.
16. Items returned with open packaging
Returned items are items that have been returned to shop.packaging.si and have minor defects (damaged packaging, scratches, etc.) and are for further sale.
The type of defect or the condition of the item is stated in writing for each item (both in the item description and on the invoice).
Returned items are checked at shop.packaging.si. Due to the inspection for these items despite the return and open packaging etc. we guarantee their flawless operation.
If the returned item does not work, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within the same terms as for other items.
17. Delivery
The contractual partner for the delivery of shipments from the shop.packaging.si seller is Pošta Slovenije or GLS Slovenia, but shop.packaging.si reserves the right to choose another delivery service if it can fulfill the order more efficiently. You can find more about delivery here.
18. Safety
shop.packaging.siup uses appropriate technological and organizational means to protect the transfer and storage of personal data and payments.
19. Protection of personal data
shop.packaging.si undertakes to permanently protect all personal data of the user in accordance with ZVOP-1.
Shop.packaging.si stores the following data of shop.packaging.si members indefinitely: first and last name, e-mail address, contact phone number, primary address and delivery addresses, country of residence, time and date of registration and archive of communication with the shop. packaging.si.
shop.packaging.si uses and shares the specified personal data exclusively for the needs and with the purpose of fulfilling the order (making payments through partners who manage payment systems, delivery by the transport partner, sending offers, invoices, information material) and other necessary communication with members.
Under no circumstances will the user’s data be given to unauthorized persons.
Shop.packaging.si stores the following data of shop.packaging.si guests only for the time until the order is fulfilled: first and last name, e-mail address, contact phone number, primary address and delivery addresses, country of residence, time and date of registration and communication archive with shop.packaging.si. After completing the order, only data related to the individual order is stored, which can only be accessed by knowing the account number and the order number.
The user himself is also responsible for the protection of personal data, namely by ensuring the security of his e-mail address, username and password, as well as the appropriate software (antivirus) protection of his computer.

20. Communication
Shop.packaging.si will contact the user via means of remote communication only if the user does not expressly oppose this and in accordance with the provisions of ZEKom-1.
Advertising emails from shop.packaging.si will contain the following components:
will be clearly and unequivocally marked as advertising messages,
the sender shop.packaging.si will be clearly visible,
various campaigns, promotions and other marketing techniques will be marked as such. Also, the conditions of participation in them will be clearly defined,
the way to unsubscribe from receiving advertising messages will be clearly presented,
shop.packaging.si will expressly respect the user’s wish not to receive advertising messages.
Advertising messages from shop.packaging.si will be clearly visible and clearly separated from games and competitions.
21. Limitation of liability
Shop.packaging.si does its best to ensure that the information published on its website is up-to-date and correct. Nevertheless, the characteristics of the items, the delivery time or the price can change so quickly that shop.packaging.si cannot correct the information on the website. In such a case, shop.packaging.si will inform the buyer about the changes and allow him to withdraw from the contract or exchange the ordered item.
Shop.packaging.si has the option of withdrawing from the contract only if an obvious error is found (Article 46 of the OZ). An obvious error is considered to be a mistake in the essential characteristics of the article and all errors which, according to the customs of the store or according to the customer’s intention, are considered decisive and which shop.packaging.si would not have confirmed or concluded a contract with had it been aware of them. This also includes obvious pricing errors.
22. Complaints and disputes
Shop.packaging.si respects the applicable European legislation on consumer protection. shop.packaging.si makes every effort to fulfill its duty to establish an efficient complaint handling system and to designate a person with whom, in case of problems, the buyer can contact by phone or e-mail.
The complaint is submitted via the e-mail address info@packaging.si. The appeal process is confidential. Within five working days, Shop.packaging.si will confirm that it has received the complaint, inform the customer how long it will take to process it and keep him informed throughout the process.
Shop.packaging.si is aware that an essential feature of a consumer dispute, at least as far as court resolution is concerned, is its disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the costs incurred in resolving the dispute itself. This is also the main obstacle for the consumer not to initiate a dispute before the court. That is why shop.packaging.si does its best to resolve any disputes amicably.
In case of judicial settlement of disputes, the competent court is the place of registration of the owner of the shop.packaging.si online store – the company Kadrovik d.o.o.
Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes
In accordance with legal norms, shop.packaging.si does not recognize any provider of out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes as competent for the resolution of a consumer dispute that the consumer could initiate in accordance with the Act on Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes.
Shop.packaging.si, which as a provider of goods and services facilitates online shopping in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia, publishes on its website an electronic link to the platform for online resolution of consumer disputes (SRPS). The platform is available to consumers here.
The aforementioned regulation comes from the Act on the Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes, Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the online resolution of consumer disputes and the amendment of Regulation (EC) no. 2016/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC.
